Your First Consultation: What to Expect (and Why There's Nothing to Be Nervous About)

If you've ever thought about booking a consultation and then talked yourself out of it, this one's for you.

Almost every woman who sits in my chair for the first time tells me the same thing: "I almost didn't come. I was so nervous." And almost every one of them says the same thing when they leave: "I wish I'd done this sooner."

So let's pull back the curtain. Here's what actually happens at a first consultation at my Stuart studio — no surprises, no sales pitch.

You talk, I listen

We start with a conversation. What brought you in? What does your hair mean to you? What are you dreaming of — and what's been frustrating you?

Some clients are dealing with hair loss and want to talk through options. Others are dreaming of thicker, longer hair for a wedding or a fresh start. There's no wrong reason to be here, and you don't need to have it all figured out. That's literally my job.

We look together

I take a gentle look at your hair and scalp — not to judge, but to understand what we're working with. Then we move to my color bar and match shades in natural light, because that's the only light that tells the truth.

You'll try on a few options. Not under harsh lights, not rushed — just you, me, and a mirror in a private room.

You leave with a plan

A consultation isn't a commitment to buy anything. It's 80 dollars of one-on-one time that ends with a real plan: maybe a custom human-hair wig, maybe a topper, maybe just knowing your options for the first time.

One-on-one. Private. No pressure. Just answers from someone who's spent 30+ years helping women feel like themselves again.

Thinking about it?

Saturday appointments are my most requested, and they go fast. If you've been circling the idea, this is your sign. Book at stylist1.com or send me a message — I'll take it from there.

Have a bright day!
